John Odisho Putrus
John is a co-founder of Lex Fori Lawyers. He is a highly accomplished Principal and holds a Bachelor degree in Laws and a Master in Family Law.
John specialises in the areas of Family Law, Personal Injury and Insurance Law.
In his early years of practice as a Lawyer, John worked for a mid tier plaintiff firm where he practiced predominately in the areas of personal injury, family law and insurance law, for several years in Sydney CBD.
Subsequently, John moved on to work as a Legal Specialist for a leading international insurer where he gained invaluable and considerable experience working on the opposite side. And immediately before co-founding Lex Fori Lawyers, John was employed as a legal consultant for one of the largest Banks in Australia.
John is passionate about being a plaintiff lawyer and representing everyday people. His extensive knowledge and experience in personal injury compensation law enables him to give accurate advice as to the likely outcome of Court proceedings. John and his team have recovered millions of dollars in compensation for our clients in past insurance and negligence claims.
When it comes to Family Law, John fully understands that resolving property and parenting disputes can be extremely stressful for clients and their families. His holistic approach to litigation and dispute resolution enables clients to achieve the best possible settlement in financial and parenting disputes and allows them to make a new, positive start in life on the best possible terms.
John's clients include a broad range of individuals, corporations and small businesses, financial institutions, public and private corporations, corporate executives, professionals, small to medium enterprises and business enterprises.
Whilst he is not working, John makes the most of his time with his wife and three active young children. He also enjoys reading, bike riding, fishing and keeping fit.
